FILES & PROOFS

Proofs are print-ready versions of your final Print Files according to our printing specifications. Proofs usually take 3-4 business days and can be done in both hard and digital copies (digital is standard). Proofs must be signed off and/or returned before we can go to press.

PRINTING & SHIPPING

Proofs are approved and now we are in Production!
Ink put to paper, pages gathered and collated, cover printed and treatments added, books bound and finished, then packaged and shipped! Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any events scheduled that need books in hand!

Cover Finish

"Smooth" Matte Laminate has a non-reflective finish with NO texture. Recommended for mostly black or dark covers to reduce fingerprints. "Soft Touch" Matte Laminate has a non-reflective finish with a "velvety" or "soft" texture. Can add a luxury feel. "Gloss" Laminate has a shiny finish. Often used for covers that might come into contact with mess — sport / workout books, some kids books, some cookbooks, etc.
